Note A) The foundation is honest and open about where the funds go and B) Diversity has been a recurring problem in the tech community.
Linux doesn't need help, but real people do. I love Linux. I don't mind a significant portion of the funds going to help minorities out. We have a quite stale echochamber here oftimes.
Lunduke has been a paranoid right wing idiot for some time now. What's it's ultimate goal here? Stopping companies to fund open source projects that they profit from?
Also the "doesn't want you to talk about" is so Fox news.
It's true that Microsoft which was once "the sworn enemy of Linux and open-source" now holds great power over where Linux may be going (or not).
Is that a problem? Is it OK? It's clearly a change, and seems like something one might find worthy of discussion or reflection.
And what about the Linux foundation and spendage? Is it OK that they collect money and goodwill in the name of Linux, and then spend all that money on pretty much anything except Linux? I can't imagine any other case where that sort of organizational public misrepresentation is deemed anything but misleading.
It's also true that OSI has shunned all it's original founders. Why did that happen? And what does that imply about OSI as an organization? Are there bigger changes being implied by these actions?
Are you also saying it's being "a paranoid right wing idiot" when you raise concern of what used to be pure community-driven projects are now 100% corporate run? I thought that would be the concern of "left wing idiot", not a right wing idiot? :)
As for someone accusing someone else of being simplistic or biased, you seem to have your own simplifications and bias affecting your own judgements ;)

Ah, but which minorities are those?
