I get that it's a snappy headline, but the deltas themselves don't seem very severe. Although it's kinda weird to see changes already since it'll take a while before Elon has any real control at Twitter -- someone probably knows more about me than this. Won't it take months?
Some speculate that the account discovery algorithms had a thumb on the scale. Now that Musk will be taking over, they may be lifting the thumb. That is one possible explanation. Perhaps we'll find out in a few months once Musk's team takes over and looks around.
Anecdotally I’ve noticed I get multiple recommendations for people to follow who I’m not even remotely interested in hearing their opinions, this hasn’t changed for me.
I’d like to see an analysis on whether or not these are mostly brand-new users and/or bots.
