The sun shines 24/7 last time i checked. We just need the appropriate infrastructure be that a globally interconnected grid or solar satellites with power beaming. The last case study i saw suggested that an Europe <-> NA interconnect would pay for itself and that was before the Russia thing.
Could you send me a link to the case study on the Europe <-> NA interconnect?
