insulation on wiring starts to break down. Telephones and power
systems are the first things to go.
Look around you now and see how many objects in your vicinity would
survive.
This is probably it yeah. But the cover looks different. I mention
that because I only remember it as a kid from a terrifying jacket
image. It was on bookshelf and I remember asking my dad or some adult
about it. The cover I see linked now looks like a weird Salvatore
Dali, not quite as I remember.
