Right I do have a EIN, but because my LLC is a single member my understanding is it's treated (personal and LLC all the same) even though legally they are independent. A bit of a grey area, I like tax grey areas. :-)
Yeah it’s pretty silly. FYI You can edit the html to remove the readonly attribute on the input and use your normal keyboard or password manager to input your password.
Of course they are the inflation-protected bonds. I guessed that given our currrent economic situation.
A bit of a clickbaiting title though. 9% return is nominal. This is inflation-adjusted after all, the expect real return is still the same. Just a reminder that times are tough.
I don’t believe there are any financial instruments that are even close to yielding 9.62% risk free. That’s why it’s limited to $10k annual. Though they should raise the limit to $100k something more “average” for investment savings and bonds. Anyway, I digress.
I also have a savings account at Goldman Sachs and it yields a whopping 0.60%.

[ 3.0 ms ] story [ 30.5 ms ] threadYou can't type/paste your password when logging in, you are forced to use some ridiculous keyboard abomination. "Password is not case sensitive" WTF?
Unrelated: Anybody know if I can do $10k personally and another $10k with my LLC? It's a single member LLC (so disregarded entity / passthrough).
