The only reason Safari has any marketshare, and any power at at all, is because Apple forbids competing browser engines on iOS. There are currently over a billion active iOS devices in use.

I randomly clicked on 15-20 YouTube videos of people outside of tech circles unboxing MacBooks and the first thing they do is install Chrome. All of them. People clearly like Chrome more than Safari and want the real version on iOS/iPadOS but Apple is being anti-competitive by blocking it.

Chrome is used by oblivious people. It cannot even render images. Edge and Chrome aren't even close to Safari or Firefox.

You can check that yourself. Install Firefox and Chrome and look at some pictures. Notice anything? Keep using Firefox while you are at it.

The Chromium-based Edge is pretty awesome. Have to give it to Microsoft for making that choice.
