Some of the examples are neat, not so sure about the marketing.

Some of the design decisions also seem questionable on paper though they may seem genius when tried out. No spec sheet is kinda lame, how will it adjust for IPD?

Appreciate the feedback.

RE Specs: Most of our specs are pinned down and listed on the website, with some exceptions.[1] Notable exceptions: battery life is TBD, though targeting ~3hrs; total headset weight is also TBD, though we're targeting ~1000g). LMK if you questions about other aspects of our specs, and I can answer.

RE IPD: we discussed this somewhat in our Friday update last week[2], though we should provide more detail in a blog update soon. But TLDR: we're basically using automatic IPD adjustment via motors and eye tracking.

RE marketing: is there something about our marketing that turns you off, or that we can improve upon?

Mechanical IPD adjustment sounds cool, if its truly a seamless auto adjust then that sounds really cool!

Still probably should have a spec sheet, since your target demographic probably cares quite a bit more than average.

Your marketing looks nice but there are some areas where it seems kinda off. Like showing that picture of John Carmack with his 1080p monitor multiple times. With the same explanatory blurb repeated.

There’s a general sense that it was designed by committee. Even if it was, consumers have come to expect Apple like fit and feel and polish and unity in the presentation of any electronic product over $1000.

Enthusiasts don’t really care as much of course if it meets their demands.

> Still probably should have a spec sheet, since your target demographic probably cares quite a bit more than average. I've suggested to George to add a more prominent spec sheet. It's there, but you need to scroll a bit or go to the shop, so it's not the most visible.

Not sure exactly what you mean here, or rather where you got the impression. Can you elaborate?
