Hi guys

I spent my spare time in 2020 and 2021 learning how to put together and operate a backyard observatory.

The linked pic is a composite made with the image composite editor from microsoft research. The input to the compositor looks like this:

I found that this process is a lot faster than creating sequences in sequence generator pro or sharpcap, though it does leave in visible sensor noise that would otherwise be removed by the stacking process.

I've yet to find a decent deconvolver, though i'm probably going to learn some openCV for that.

Is the composite editor public?

Which telescope/camera did you use?

You aimed it manually or automatically? (It looks automatic.) Why all the bottom of the Moon was filmed as the last part of the video?
