This could be very useful for search and rescue teams assuming these things can fly for a while and are smart enough to swap out with freshly charged drones as needed. I would be curious to see how many of these would be required to quickly map out a 10 square mile area of dense forest, hills, cliffs, ponds at 3am. That might be a fun test. Send a recon soldier into the woods to play hide-and-seek with the drones. I will add the unfair criteria of the soldier winning the game if they are undetected by sunrise or can complete their target objective undetected.

One could call the local army or marine unit to get volunteers for such a game. Or many games. This could even be a quarterly game to see who can adapt, improvise and overcome faster.

apart from drone noises which some will most likely comment on, i can imagine something like this technology being used to record foot ball players on the field just for that added dimension of interaction with the game. it'll probably be awhile but some tech school/university will probably do it for their promo videos or some other type of organization may start using it to record their sports training efforts.
