Is the Internet OK?
From Google search results returning weird Russian porn, to everything being hacked constantly, crypto tanking when this is the exact environment it was supposed to thrive in, to weird online group thought being pushed by bot accounts, wtf is going on?

What do you do personally to avoid getting hacked? I know for me I take many measures, not going into them here, there are other places for detailing that. But if everyone done all the best practices and defense in depth we wouldn't be in a shitstorm!

that person will realize they spent $400,000 on nothing and they will change overnight from an advocate to a hater. People will wake up and realize Kantai Collection and Fate Grand Order are better games than Axie Infinity not least because the first two feature large-chested women whereas the latter has off-brand versions of Kirby that all look the same.
Soon we won't be mocking people who post NFT propaganda because it will be all over.
If a million people are repeating similar permutations of a 50 Cent Army script on Twitter or Facebook you can use string-distance algorithms to find them and down-mod them at once. If you split those million people up into the fediverse it is significantly more complicated, which reduces the speed you can respond with... and you magnify the efficiency of lying... the “a lie can travel halfway around the world while the truth is still putting on its boots“ problem.
