```
Richard M. Stallman, frequently known as RMS, has been a dangerous force in the free software community for a long time. He has shown himself to be misogynist, ableist, and transphobic, among other serious accusations of impropriety.
Anyone mind to provide a bit more context on RS' behavior problems?
Finding an instance where RMS has gaffed up really isn’t hard. That he is to create controversies is pretty much expected of him nowadays.
Kinda like “Oh it’s nothing. It’s just RMS being RMS”.
That said, that petition was an unsubstantiated SJW attack on a person of principle, over some FSF-internal personnel-matters where the “offended” party really didn’t have much offence to show for.
In fact the petition was so unsubstantiated that it resulted in a counter-petition which quickly outranked the original petition by a factor of 6.
This site attempts to provide a more correct picture of these matters: https://stallmansupport.org/
Reads like a PR piece for companies that want more free stuff.
> In this post I argue that we should move away from the GPL and related licenses (LGPL, AGPL), for reasons that have nothing to do with Stallman
