Not that I wouldn't be able to use a throw-away address, but this does not raise my confidence into the whole effort.

This domain no longer have anything to do with the original Symbolics (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbolics)

Instead, seems to be run by some self-proclaimed expert who basically squats hard-to-acquire domains:

> Hi, I’m Aron Meystedt. I’ve been in the business of domain names and digital assets for 20 years. I acquire high-end and hard-to-locate domain names for startups, investors and entrepreneurs. I am also working on a few entrepreneurial projects — one is using collectibles market data to predict future sales prices. I’m having fun noodling on new ideas.

Sad state of affairs...

I choose to read this as "I don't know how to use DNS, but I do have an extensive network of contacts who can look up DNS records for me".

What do you mean? Like an insider at ICANN who can get the owner's actual contact information instead of a whois guard?
This is an improvement over the old site where you could buy OpenGenera for like thirty thousand bucks.
The history and downfall of Symbolics is generally kind of tragic, but the fate of their domain being bought and turned into an SEO-optimized piece of spam by a domain squatter trying to make a quick buck on it is incredibly depressing to look at. It even mentions blockchains ffs.
I was hoping it would be some kind of tribute site. What a letdown!
