That should make most people feel better about their in-laws.
Can they not adopt?
That would require involving themselves in the less fun aspects of raising a child, and people exhibiting this degree of self-centered entitlement—which, and I’m using the term clinically, sounds downright sociopathic to me—have no interest in that sort of responsibility.

The guy is suing his son for not having a child, just because he wants something cute to play with on the weekends. I wouldn’t trust those people with a puppy, let alone a child.
