This reads as mostly noise, which is what I would expect from a Project Veritas "bombshell". I imagine the Mail was the highest profile outlet that would publish this, given the single source who clearly brings his own bias to this issue.

"Twitter wants to censor bullying and harassment and the idea of free speech is that you can bully and harass people. Twitter does not believe in this value as a platform. Because it's not conducive to a business."

Show me the major social networks for which this isn't true.

The quotes on bias offer no new information other than "yeah this totally happens".

And the PTO thing is nothing. People have unlimited time off? Hardly without precedent. People taking "months" off? Would not be surprised if this guy just heard about this through the grapevine and most examples are just parental leave or sabbaticals.

The bottom line is this is a single person that Project Veritas (as always) is trying to turn into a whistleblower, which is not really how it works. Any journalist worth their salt would be chasing down other sources to confirm this instead of taking one guy out for drinks a few times.

Said the employee (first video):

> Twitter wants to censor bullying and harassment, and the idea of free speech is that you can bully and harass people.

Then goes on to call it “toxic behaviour” while criticising other platforms for not allowing it either and ends with singling out trans people as an example of a group which should be OK to bully, they “just gotta tolerate it”.

The interviewee doesn’t care about free speech, he cares about being an asshole without repercussions. He’s a clear advocate for the intolerant[1].
