That would be a shame. FairEmail has been the best mobile client I've used. But I absolutely empathize with the dev.
Nooooooooo! FairEmail is an excellent piece of FLOSS software, and it should not die!

That said, it seems like the author is mainly brought down by negativity in reviews. I understand that absolutely. Although I'm happy that WFH had normalized, there are people, people I know, that just don't jibe with over text. I need regular meets (VC will do) to be assured they are not insensitive assholes. If I wouldn't have that, I could not go on in my work. Apparently I am sensitive. With these reviews there's both a volume and a total lack of face time that I could not deal with. Well, by not ever looking at it. Sure, the Play Store gives reach, but I don't think that's what the author needs right now. People just don't work very well over IP, and I shut down channels occasionally because I must place my mental health before all. Maybe that can work for M66B too.

FairEmail is an absolute gem. I hope they are able to resolve their issues with Google. Would be a big loss in the FOSS world.
Nooo, my favourite Android email client :(. Thanks for all the years of hard work on this amazing app.
