Pretty nice video. Hopefully he makes more (beyond the shorts).
Good first video I really enjoyed it. I always liked how the Gameboy works from how it looks and sounds to the way people found clever ways to get effects on the limited hardware like screen wipes and blur.
Really cool video. I love it when people teach concepts through using the concepts themselves (like how he shows himself in an accurate Gameboy display matrix and even "fades" the video of himself as he explains how fading worked).
Love this! Reminds me a lot of RetroGameMechanicsExplained with the very clear visuals showing exactly "how the computer thinks".
Great way to explain the subject.
Wish he talked a little more naturally. Felt like I was a five year old listening to him.
I agree, some interesting info there but I struggled with the delivery

“The ultimate gameboy talk” from 33c3

Beautiful and inspiring.

Agreed. It's a wonderful talk.

I'm elated that discoveries are still being made. Since this talk, the understanding has come to be that there are two independent pixel FIFOs. One responsible for sprites, and the other for background and window tiles.
