Tell HN: With IPv6, hosting from home is trivial

Not sure if people are aware, with IPv6 there's essentially no need to mess around routers, NAT or DDNS.

To host a website you only need to add an AAAA record from your domain to your device, and that's pretty much it.

I hope wider IPv6 adoption will bring with it some sort of hosting-from-home revolution.

Agreed. However, the next problem is Internet Service Providers' Terms of Service which may block customers from hosting certain services for whatever reason.
Lots of places still don’t have ipv6 support. So the reach of your server may be limited.
Do you have static IPv6 address? In my case the prefix changes once per week or so. And that change is quite disruptive because it causes all devices on my network to completely change their addresses.
