No, the misinformation was that it contained evidence that Biden stole the election, or Biden's child porn stash, or proved Biden engaged in corrupt dealings with Russia, was a Chinese spy, or whatever other shit Trumpists wanted to fling any particular week. Hunter Biden's laptop is like a box with Schroedinger's conspiracy theory inside - before you look it contains the superposition every possible scandal, lie and smoking gun, after you look it contains nothing.

But I don't think anyone ever claimed that Hunter Biden didn't own a laptop. It would be very unusual if that were the case.
