Are sunspots/coronal mass ejections affecting your systems?

We run a fleet of high-performance desktop PCs for our continuous integration pipeline. They are bare-bones and do not have ECC RAM.

The statistics on system lockups/coredumps has been trending up, somewhat correlating with solar activity. They are not correlating with anything in the local environment such as power or cooling.

Of course when a system halts we just power cycle it and get on with our work, but the coincidence remains.
