Honestly, he lost me pretty quickly when he was complaining that a competitor was checking them out and asking them questions and figuring out how they worked. Seems like a smart move from any company, if you have competitors check them out. Learn from them and build better than what they have. Not knowing your competitors seems like a foolish move.
Later on he talks about the tag line being the same. If you both have the same features and benefits then the tagline is going to be similar.
The job posts were super obiviously copied. But they talk of copied terms and blog posts. Which seems super odd. Having your legal docs from a source other than a lawyer seems super likely to cause legal disputes you lose. And I couldn't even find a blog on pebbles.us.
