You would think. A while back it was the thing for some to walk into a store with a semiautomatic rifle around their neck, scaring the S out of everyone around them, just to prove that they have the right to do it and the NRA was their to support the right.
Walmart and such have had to post signs in many states stating that they don't allow firearms in the stores.
The NRA has long been a poser organization riddled with corruption, their only useful characteristic being their size.
Strongly recommend you check out the GOA if you're 50 and under, since you're probably part of the huge new generation firearms community that cares about training, equality, activism, and community.
The NRA is well financed. They were created to sell more firearms. They are a manufacture's organization but somehow they have managed to present themselves as a primary defender of the individual. I don't think I've seen that anywhere else.
