Yeah, it's down for me too (I'm in the Netherlands).
Things were slow today morning (3 hours ago), from India.
Seems like a partial service degredation (Germany), not that the status page shows anything at all... https://www.githubstatus.com/

Edit: Well I'll be damned, status page just updated. Investigating and everything is marked as major outage...

Status page, like my girlfriend, says everything is fine.
It was down for me but it is fixed now.
Once again. GitHub is down. As expected at least once a month. [0] Some companies and open-source organisations who are self-hosting aren't affected since they already migrated off of going all in on GitHub [1] or they have a self-hosted failsafe that they can use in case GitHub goes down [2].

As I said before, going all in on GitHub still makes no sense.

Good to see GitHub keeping to their rule of not letting a month going by without having a serious outage. /s
It was down for me too but it now works. The website feels fast again but GIT operations still are a bit slower than usual.
Experiencing degraded service from Singapore too.
