High cost of cancer care in the U.S. doesn’t reduce mortality rates (news.yale.edu)

Im pretty sure a cure for most cancers already exist. But nobody has heard of them because of the very large amount of money currently being made for treatment.

Treatment is profitable. Cures are not.

Just like a lot of very specific problems the USA has, there's nothing to be done here except offer good thoughts, and trusting in God.
