Companies are going places where the taxes are low (Texas) or where their VC funding is (California). People, y'know, might not want to live in these places, or they might be in 2-professional families that can't up and leave at the drop of a hat. Will they just adapt their pitch to "we hire the rockstars we can convince to live here"? Or, just consider anybody who's not interested in living there "obvious non-rockstars"?

Time for Europe to get serious about funding startups, I guess.
