Basic Pitch: ML model to turn audio into MIDI (engineering.atspotify.com)

Cool concept! I've seen some try this, for the past few year.

Any idea how this would map to MIDI 2.0? Which AFAIK will support 32-bit, compared to the 8-bit that's with current MIDI specs.
