Google Voice number expiration warning is confusing.

Google Voice will want to expire your number if you aren't using it enough. If the countdown starts, to do so, they should (but don't?) send a warning to the phone number it gets forwarded to. Also, their "expire" / "reclaim" / "be reclaimed" terminology is confusing.

Remember that with domain names, at least, there is an intervening grace period. Google should do likewise.

(When I first published this post I had been under the misimpression that my Voice number was gone. Fortunately it was not so.)
