I'm actually wondering if diagnosis of certain mental illness might affect insurance cost overall. It might sound absurd to overlook mental issues because of uncertainty of costs but that's indeed one of my biggest concerns.
Lots of walking. Disengage from the world. Keep the phone outside the room whilst sleeping. Turn off notifications for everything not important. A nice warm bath with essential oils. Red wine to unwind. Plenty of different nuts and fish oil.
This response makes me think of Radiohead's song Fitter Happier
Are you "simply" aware of the fish oil benefit, or can you feel/notice when you don't take it?
Physical exercise.

Saying “no” or “no thanks” or “I’m not sure I’ll be able to finish by then” more often.

Biking by the seaside. Taking a day off for the great outdoors.

Trying to get to bed at a reasonable time.

Not looking at my phone during the morning toilet ritual.

Letting that dumb idiot on Reddit have the last word and never looking at the thread again… what thread?

I just cut things out of my life that are damaging my mental health. People and jobs mostly wont change. If the person isnt direct family, get them away from you. Same with my job. Understand if the mechanics of the role are hurting your quality of life, and either fix it or leave, dont make concessions.
I read title as inquiring how my mental health has impacted my visual appearance.

So that probably answers that.

Turned off all notifications. Unsubscribed from Netflix. Uninstalled all the apps except critically needed.

Trying to read more than i watch youtube.

Stopped meditating after I realized how meaningless is that for me and my always wandering brain.

Consulting with psychotherapists from time to time.

Trying to apply a smart idea from another random youtube “guru” sometimes (mostly around my relationships with other people, as i found this is a crucial building block of a personal health).
