Ask HN: Is anyone else having audio glitches and pops on their M1 MacBook?

A bit of googling gives the impression that I'm not the only person with this problem.

It doesn't seem to be linked to heavy usage of CPU or memory, and it does seem to go away after a reboot, but starts happening again fairly shortly after.

Has anyone sucessfully resolved it? This is driving me nuts!

I had this issue regularly occurring when playing videos in Firefox. I switched to Safari and that issue completely went away. Sometimes I'll check back on newer Firefox builds and unfortunately that issue persists.

For me the issue seems to occur with any audio source, but only happens when there is a decent amount of RAM usage, or CPU usage.
