I've been to this station a few times. I never thought it would get such an in-depth look, as it's rather unassuming and out of the way.
It's been a while, but I seem to remember the line to board heading up the mini-high, but ultimately heading down again to board at ground level. You can see the yellow tactile edge is used far beyond just on the elevated area.
