I'm always suspicious of laptops with no Intel video. How well supported by mainline video drivers is this one?
AMD open sourced their Linux drivers a while back so I would expect support to be on par with the Intel stack, as they sharing a lot MESA/KMS etc.

I have a Radeon VII and it works perfectly, even AAA games with Steam on the fully OSS stack.

This is an AMD machine, not Intel.
And that’s why I was concerned about having proper GPU drivers.
From the product homepage: Do more with the software you love: Pop!_OS preinstalled Multi-task like a pro with an 8-Core AMD Ryzen™ 7 PRO processor¹ Run multiple apps in parallel with 16GB DDR4 3200 MT/s Master your files with 1 TB PCIe® 3x4 NVMe™ M.2 2280 SSD storage² See code clearly on a 14”, 1920x1080 FHD, 1000 nit display Experience stellar graphic performance with AMD Radeon™ Graphics

All that for $1099.

Looks great, but only available in the US.
Looks good but miss high resolution display. 1000nit isn't needed but HiDPI is better to have for coding. It miss latest Ryzen 6000 series but maybe currently 5000 is better for Linux?

I found the LP breaks if I change browser width. https://hpdevone.com/

16:10 or lower ratios for development please
The price is right. I was a little disappointed that Coreboot isn't included. Hope to get one next time I'm in the market for another laptop.
