Although the article does not say anything I didn't know. It is very interesting that the conversation is being had.

I think the title of it makes a perfect summary. Regardless of the proposed solutions, how do we deal with these mismatched incentives? A quick example of my own personal experience, in order to filter out women in Tinder you have to pay for filters. As a gay man, this is a terrible experience.

But also we've got to think about what people want, what people need and where people are. It is not efficient at all to have people in all the different apps and often you see people trying to find a date on a multitude of apps (most of which are owned by the same parent corporation anyway).

It is obvious that for a significant portion of people dating apps offer the possibility of finding love and care. So to talk about the democratization of these platforms is definitely an important conversation.
