It doesn't. I assume your extension tries to use Chrome's connection to the user's Google account, but I'm not logged into my Google account. Mostly because I only use Chrome for web development/testing, but I was curious about how the features would work for me. Of course that makes me a rather irrelevant minority of the userbase.
What would help people with dyslexia or ADHD with the Wikipedia page in the screenshot is actually having some web design that understand how typography works.
While I think it's admirable that people want "to go back to simpler web pages without all this CSS nonsense" there's a bloody good reason why people do things like set text divs to be about the width of your hand on screen.
Newspaper publishers understood this 200-odd years ago.

I don't think going this far makes sense, if I have to jump through three lines just to read a single sentence with a lot of words broken up between lines I don't think that helps my reading flow.
Just filling the whole width of the browser window isn't good either though, I agree on that.
I have found the fonts at <https://opendyslexic.org/> to be helpful. It is actually harder to read and in turn slows you down, so there are less errors.
I saw another method recently that highlights certain letters in a word to be bold and doesnt need to change the font. The test examples were very easy for me to read.
Unfortunately I didn't bookmark it and now can't find it!
We already provide OpenDyslexic font with other font options as well. Also, we give the ability to increase the font size and bold the font. And spacing options to increase space between lines, words, and even letters. Not to mention the Line Highlighting ruler for focused reading and screen shading

Chrome is the most popular web browser that's why we are focusing on it at the moment. We have an Edge version (https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/detail/read-easy-...) but it doesn't have all the current features. We plan to to add more browsers support as soon as our extension gets into stable state
I have tried a bunch of these fonts and other tools. But for me zooming in, making the font bigger and/or using reading mode is the best solution for me. By making the font bigger the sentences get shorter and it easier to read.
There are laws about advertising healthcare products/drugs/medical devices, and I dont think this browser extension falls under either of those categories. Of course there are plenty other categories that have their own advertisement laws, but i cannot think of any that could reasonably apply here as the closest approximation of "remedy for a medical condition". Just like f.lux or dark mode aren't healthcare products either.

We don't sell the data to any third party neither going to use our users data for marketing. We already declared that to Chrome Web Store and we got approved

Hold your hand up to the screen.
How wide is the text div?
If anyone has experience with useful extensions that help dyslexia/ADHD, please share those, that'd be helpful.
