Hopefully this means that GNOME will have the resources to finally implement image thumbnails in the file picker dialog.

What I'm reading from this is that Microsoft definitely does not consider GNOME a competitor in any of their interest-spaces, which is probably true.

Gnome is doing Windows8's mistakes, they have the approval of Microsoft because that'll result in its death

If i use mouse/keyboard on my desktop, i don't want my OS to be designed for Tablets, it is this simple to understand, and yet Gnome is designing their OS for Tablets! they deserve this award!

they should have went with Apple's idea, strict separation between macOS/iPadOS/iOS, each optimized for their own devices

their mobile shell should have been built with waydroid in mind

this way they wouldn't have won this award and would have been a real threat to them :D, but shhh!!!
