Data on internet search interest is fairly widely used by investors, both professional and retail, but the existing publicly available tools aren’t typically built with investors in mind.
Google Trends is great for seeing whether interest is trending up or down for a particular company, but it doesn’t allow you to easily see the companies with the largest increases and decreases in search interest. That was the primary value I was looking to add, while also allowing users to search by ticker to get interest graphs as you’d find on Google Trends.
