Very similar though has been on mind as I watch the layoffs are these(+Crypto) startups. The roles being eliminated scream loud and describe very closely to MLM model. The future for you my friend is rich, make sure you get X folks to make you Y% rich, you gotta being you can make this happen. More intelligent people like you out there are waiting to make much bigger deals and investment that you, show them the path.

The individualistic capitalist greed at the core of Amway is really the underlying fundamental though, and quite far from the message of Christianity- they abused some cherry-picked scriptures to try to align themselves with a cultural psyche. I wonder what methods they use in India?
MLM stuff is a flat out cult. I've had friends that seemingly over night turned into people who once talked to me about their families, lives, hopes and dreams into people who could only talk to me about protein powders they were trying to sell me.
Recently, the Indian government took action against Amway and consequently Indian YouTube is filled with Amway apologists (most likely distributors at the bottom of the pyramid).
