This only applies to "private communications data" and not other controversial aspects of the Snoopers' Charter like the intelligence services' access to unspecified "bulk personal datasets", but apparently challenges to those provisions are continuing this year:

Bad that as a UK citizen I sometimes worry that my monthly sub to Liberty will count against me ('chilling effect').
