Just checked it out with a Singapore instance. The process to launch an App works without any problem. But the typing experience is a little laggy overall.
The latency depends on the internet speed and you can also change your resolution.
It doesn’t say anything what this Obsidian is. Unlikely that people will try it out, without knowing what it is, especially as it requires sign up.
We have explained in detail in our blog - https://blog.neverinstall.com/obsidian-is-finally-on-the-web...
> One of the reasons the founders built the application this way is that the company’s vision does not incorporate support for the cloud. They strongly believe that the users’ data must sit on the local machine, not in a cloud server.

Obsidian operates a cloud syncing service for this exact reason.

Totally agreed but at the same time there were many obisidian users who needed cloud support. Please have a look at this obsidian's official forum thread - https://forum.obsidian.md/t/obsidian-for-web/2049

It was one of the most requested feature. We totally respect obsidian's vision and at the same time we also think there could be a solution which could benefit and grow the community together.

Ah okay, so by "cloud support", you mean a web app, or at least something that runs purely in the browser?
Yes, exactly. It runs purely in the browser without download or installation.
