I find it hard to assess risk for oneself without understanding the exact mechanics here. Would these same people similar risk with a COVID infection, or is there something specific to the mRNA channel that elevates heart risks?
I got subclinical pericarditis from the vaccine booster, I’ve been taking colchicine and it helped a lot. I’m in a few long covid support groups and a lot of people there have it, and many of them don’t know they have it. It’s way easier to treat pericarditis than long covid so I try to get the word out. The pericarditis is subclinical so it didn’t show up with an echocardiogram nor MRI. Indicators did show up in blood tests. I think this low grade is easy to miss and probably results in false negatives screwing up the stats. I don’t trust doctors nor medical researchers to get statistics right as in my experience they are atrocious at them. Anecdotally, my cardiologist said he’s seeing a ton of vaccine induced subclinical pericarditis, and my local pharmacies are running out of colchicine.
