As HPC Chip Sizes Grow, So Does the Need for 1kW+ Chip Cooling (anandtech.com)

I always wondered if you even need to put a cooler on a chip when using immersion cooling or if you can just let the liquid get boiled by the bare chip, that image finally answered my question.
