Hi, I think this qualifies for Show HN (despite being my wife's company, not mine, but I can relay and answer questions) since you can hold them in your hands.
I figured it was slightly more topical than usual since lentils, beans, and colored rice are in the discussion at the moment. If anyone wants some pre-colored rice she says she could put that bin back in stock.
Good question, definitely a thing she's thought a lot about - I'll see if she can add more details to a FAQ or page.
Couple examples I recall:
- Some of the earliest kits had beans, that's all been migrated to other non-toxic items (obviously nothing is meant to be eaten in this context, but to make sure the items are safe).
- She has a cosmetic-grade ecoglitter supplier (not sure how applicable that is to the Bins, might be more used in the Kits, but still fairly rare!)

I didn't see any mention of the safety of the materials in terms of toxicity, etc. Can you comment on that?

- Making sure colors/dyes/toys/tools are kid safe to start with. I mentioned it in another thread, but here is a link to the brand of liquid watercolor she uses for just about everything: https://www.discountschoolsupply.com/arts-crafts/paint-paint...
