Ask HN: After KeyBase buyout by Zoom what do you use?

I have not been keeping up with the latest chat applications, I really enjoyed KeyBase and was really, really hoping they would release @keybase emails next, with paid storage, and become yet another encrypted email option.

I have not seen much from them since the buyout in their blog, I can only assume it is basically abandonware at this point. It would be nice if they open sourced more of their infrastructure.
