Ask HN: Seeking pointers on reference-ability/customer-logos for SaaS
Wondering what the standard is for using customer logos on SaaS marketing pages. Especially the FAANG logos would be of interest.
- Does one person using your product within the organization suffice to make the claim?
- What legal obligations are required (or pot-holes to avoid!)?
- Any anecdotes of people being sued for such claims after having delivered product claims would be of interest.
I am in the position of engaging with a FAANG and would appreciate any pointers on do's and don'ts
