Generic Amazon Rant

I cannot sign in into amazon.com because they try to "send message" to my phone number, and it never arrives. Maybe sending messages to Russian phone numbers in 2022 is considered a bad move and they don't really send it -- only say that they did.

And there's no way to reach customer support via email, you have to call some US number.

First they lure you by "send the sample of this book to your Kindle" button, and then such a dead end.
