A common gripe I hear from foreigners is that customs/quarantine at the airport is way too strict. But this is a good example of why. We're a giant island with the opportunity to keep unwanted diseases/pests/etc out.

Most Australians are supportive of this, so when your favourite celebrity has a sook about their dog not getting through, just know that we don't care.

Is there any easy tool out there to deal with paywalls other than paying for every news website out there?
I use NoScript with Chrome. (It also used to work with Firefox, haven't tried lately.)

It doesn't block all paywalls, but it does let you read a lot of text articles on many sites, including nytimes.com - just can't see all the pics/graphics/advertising.
