Those guidestones are like waving a red flag in front of a bull so far as conspiracy theorists are concerned. We have so many people right now who make it their life's mission to make it impossible to deal with environmental problems.

That seems like an odd conclusion, for several reasons:

- There's a lot more conspiracy theories out there than just environmental ones.

- The Georgia Guidestones are, as far as I can tell, at best only loosely related to actual environmental problems.

- There are, as far as I can tell, very few groups that are resorting to violence to try to stop society from dealing with environmental issues.

- Blowing up the Guidestones doesn't do beans to actually make it harder to deal with environmental problems.

Given all that... why single out anti-environmental people?
