Good question! Emm, it's really hard to answer without a context. I think in general, I'd need to overcome any emotional "disturbances" first. But for the situations like what described in this post story, I can imagine the most critical thing was to choose the right infra design, whether to use traditional pipeline based infra or something new but can make things pretty simple, like a HTAP database in the story.
