Semi-related: does anyone maintain a good API or database of supply chain data for products?
Like if I wanted to build an interface to Amazon that shows only products made in certain countries, is there someone I can buy that from?
The sources I've found so far are either a mess or they're essentially impossible to connect to e-commerce product listings without using some sort of faulty text matching.
This would of course rely on the data flowing from Amazon being true and correct.
My experience is that it's often wrong or incomplete e.g. a product with USA listed as country of origin often turns out to be Made in China. This is not limited to Amazon either.
