Hyper-fast solitons in Einstein-Maxwell-Plasma Theory (2020) (arxiv.org)

Often when I read about physics like this, I'm reminded that there are two possibilities:

Either there is no practical way for a human to ever travel faster than light; or there is.

Both possibilities are fascinating.

(And yes I know about time travel paradoxes if FTL is possible- it's still fascinating!)
