TL;DR: Medium is a content farm with delusions of grandeur; the content is neither rare nor well-done.
It can be good but quality is all over the place.

What the article misses is that medium "failed" to improve the quality of web by making it much worse.

95% of what people want to say on Medium is "Me too".

Will substack fail for the same reasons Medium has?
