Ask HN: How are you protecting your emergency fund from inflation?

How am I getting 9% growth on my savings account? I'm not.

There are investment vehicles specifically built as inflation hedges. I purchased a unit investment trust with a basket of assets that should do well in an inflationary state. I also pulled cash out of properties and locked in 30 year rates . This has obviously become less attractive as rates have risen but worked very well late last year.
